Yellow Pages Social Media Report
Yellow Pages releases a Social Media report yearly – surveying over 2,000 SMB’s. Interestingly, their 2020 report notes that ‘One third of consumers agree that they will inspect a brand’s social media presence before making an online purchase if they have not purchased from their website before.’ Also ‘Eighty-two per cent of consumers following brands or businesses on social media are keen on accessing benefits like discounts (62%) and give-aways (47%) from them. SMBs who offer incentives (39%) are in tune with this, being most likely to offer discounts (67%) and giveaways (45%)”. Does this sound like you?
The Digital Experience is the Human Experience
According to The Center for Generational Kinetics in collaboration with WP Engine – ‘The average person will spend approximately five years and four months of their lives on social media’ . This study called “Reality Bytes – The digital experience is the human experience) delves into the way Gen Z (those born from the mid to late 90’s to the early 2010’s) blend the online and physical worlds.
