Unlike other training providers, we deliver live, interactive software training (via Zoom) in NatHERS accredited software (HERO). You receive detailed feedback of each thermal performance rating based on your submission showing you exactly what you need to know and do. This makes you industry ready and able to pass a mandatory QA review of your work by your accreditation body.

Our software training brings together theory and practice from industry, the NatHERS technical note and years of hands-on experience using NatHERS software.

    Structure

The HERO Master Class is structured in small blocks over a number of weeks. This allows participants to gain knowledge and skills and then apply them in the workplace prior to the next session.

After each session, there may be work you need to complete as part of the thermal performance assessment of the specific building that was discussed in the session. In the following session, there is the opportunity for feedback and review of what you have done.

    What is covered?

This Master Class covers everything from downloading and installing the software, correctly applying the NatHERS Technical Note, extracting key information from drawings, through the use of the software to model houses, apartments as well as some of the most complex buildings, such as a three-storey building with lift and complex roof structures.

    How is it run?

The HERO Master Class is delivered live via Zoom. There are a maximum of 8 participants, to ensure each person gets maximum personal attention and to ensure that there is the opportunity to ask questions and for Matthew to provide feedback.

The Master Class is delivered in 7 day sessions with a duration of 3 hours each. Most sessions will run from 9am – 12pm.

    Price

$1,950.00 (GST inc). Includes Bonus $330 Hero certificate credit.

Endorsement from Hero Software Founder & CEO Nick Bishop – June 2024

Transformed is one of the leading providers of Hero Software training, with a strong focus on live training, and is sought after by industry as evidenced by their award-winning training excellence.
We are very happy to learn that the training is delivered by Matthew Graham, who has been instrumental in assisting Hero Software in testing and supporting our ongoing software development. Matthew is one of the most experienced and preeminent experts in the field, which is why we are proud to have Graham Energy as Hero’s only official Support Partner at this date.
In our opinion, Transformed’s live software training component is a very valuable aspect of your courses, and can help to deliver great learning outcomes. We have found that being shown how to use Hero in an interactive environment where you can ask questions of experts can really help many users get the most out of the training opportunity and gain full confidence and productivity in the platform. We also understand that each session is recorded and made available for students to review afterwards—this echoes our online video series, where new users benefit from watching and learning in their own time.

    What our students say

“I’d like in particular to thank you so much for offering the Master Class hosted by Matthew Graham. What a difference the 6 sessions have made! I have learnt so much over the last 7 weeks and feel so much more confident in my modelling skills as a result. It was wonderful to learn from someone with as much experience as Matthew, especially as he is working in the field, so not only knows his way around the software like the back of his hand but is also happy to share some of his personal tips and tricks that cannot be learned from a manual.”
