    Overview

    If you want to step up as a supervisor, our Open Site Supervisor offering is for you. Based on four modules from the Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction Management, this unique course is specifically designed to help you attain your Open Site Supervisor Licence or make the move into a supervisory role.

    After successfully completing the course, you will take away an Open Site Supervisor Statement of Attainment, which you can use to apply for an Open Site Supervisor Licence.

    Best of all, you can continue to work while studying and put your new knowledge to work immediately. The course combines best practice theory with practical examples of workplace application. Transformed’s team of experienced facilitators and assessors have extensive and current on-the-job experience in building and construction.

    Learning Outcomes

    This Open Site Supervisor course is designed to meet the needs of building supervisors overseeing work, its quality and liaising with the client, with the goal to obtain their Open Site Supervisor Licence.

    On successful completion of the Open Site Supervisor course, you will achieve an Open Site Supervisor Statement of Attainment, which can be used to apply for an Open Site Supervisor Licence.

    Course Fees and Funding

    $3,500
    Fees are GST exempt

    Successful completion of the qualification within the course duration period, a completion rebate of $250.

    1. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – Assessment via interview and portfolio of evidence is available to participants with relevant workplace experience in a building and construction environment. Transformed will provide you with a detailed RPL kit to help you prepare your evidence for assessment.
    2. Online Learning  The learning environment provides access to study guides, assessment materials & submission links and online support from your assessor

    Course Structure

    Complete 4 modules from the CPC60220 Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management):

    The Open Site Supervisor course consists of four modules from the Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) (CPC60220)

    CPCCBC6001 Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for
    large building projects and frameworks
    CPCCBC6018 Manage processes for complying with legal obligations of a building or
    construction contractor
    CPCCBC6014 Apply structural principles to the construction of large, high rise and complex buildings
    CPCCBC6016 Assess construction faults in large building projects

    Entry Requirements

    There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however we recommend you have experience in the building and construction industry, as well as a basic knowledge of the BCA and other standards.

    • Completion of assessment tasks

    Assessment for this course is against the competency standards within the Construction Training Package (CPC08). Expect to spend about 20 hours on assessment tasks.
