    Planning to apply for your Site Supervisor – Medium Rise licence? Got the experience but no qualification? Achieve the formal qualification you need with Transformed’s Site Supervisor Medium Rise course.

    If you’re a builder who wants to supervise medium rise building projects in Queensland, you must have your Site Supervisor – Medium Rise licence. But before you can apply, you need a level of qualification relating to technical building knowledge and must have completed a program that includes an assessment of the competency levels needed, as set out by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission.

    This Site Supervisor Medium Rise builder course is designed to help you tick the right competency boxes for your licence. On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment, which can be used to apply for a Site Supervisor – Medium Rise Licence.

    The course is based on 7 modules from the Diploma of Building and Construction (Management). Some elements of the qualification, such as having a complete awareness of the Building Code of Australia (BCA), are to be expected of any applicant for the licence prior to beginning the course. However, other parts of the qualification include specialist knowledge that can only be gained from undertaking the course.

    Learning Outcomes

    The course is suitable for builders requiring a Medium Rise Building Site licence. On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Site Supervisor – Medium Rise Statement of Attainment, which can be used to apply for a Site Supervisor – Medium Rise Licence.

    Successful completion of the qualification within the course duration period, a completion rebate of $250 will be paid.

    Complete 7 modules from the CPC50308 Diploma of Building and Construction (Management).

    CPCCBC5001B Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for medium rise building projects
    CPCCBC5004A Supervise and apply quality standards to the selection of building and construction materials
    CPCCBC5005A Select and manage building and construction contractors
    CPCCBC5006B Apply site surveys and set-out procedures to medium rise building projects
    CPCCBC5018A Apply structural principles to the construction of medium rise buildings
    CPCCBC5009A Identify services layout and connection methods to medium rise construction projects
    CPCCBC5010B Manage construction work

     

    Course Duration

    The completion timeframe for this course is 6 months.

    This course is designed to meet the needs of builders overseeing work, and its quality and liaising with the client, in addition to obtain their Medium Rise Site Supervisor Licence.

    Entry Requirements

    There are no formal entry requirements for this diploma, however we recommend you have experience in the building and construction industry, as well as a basic knowledge of the BCA and other standards.

    • Completion of assessment tasks

    Assessment is against the competency standards within the Construction Training Package (CPC08). Expect to spend about 20 hours on assessment tasks.
