Learning Outcomes

This qualification is designed to meet the needs of civil construction supervisors, including selecting contractors, overseeing the work, its quality, and liaising with the client.

The Certificate IV consists of 12 units of competency based on the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package (RII).

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements for this course, however work experience in civil construction is desirable.

  • Lodgment of up-to-date CV
  • Completion of third party report
  • Work-based assessment tasks
  • Written question and answers

Assessment for the Certificate IV is against the competency standards within the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package (RII). Expect to spend about 60 hours on assessment tasks.
