Construction Skills Queensland 2016

Construction Skills Queensland provides subsidized funding for existing workers in the Building and Construction and Civil Construction industry to gain nationally recognised qualifications in a range of higher-level qualifications in line with industry standards.

Transformed has funding available for:

  • CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)
  • CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
  • CPC60212 Advanced Diploma of Building & Construction (Management)
  • RII40715 Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision
  • RII50413 Diploma of Civil Construction Management
  • RII60613 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction

Construction Skills Queensland's eligibility conditions are;

  1. Self-Assessment completed – go here
  2. Signed disclosure (a declaration that you meet the CSQ eligibility requirements to obtain funding assistance)
  3. QLD ID (Proof you are a QLD resident i.e. QLD Drivers Licence)
  4. Provide evidence that you are working in building & construction in QLD and your occupation is working on the tools i.e. Letter from employer stating job title, length of service, duties being undertaken.
  5. Proof of Australian or NZ Residency - Passport or Birth Certificate or Medicare
  6. Payment of Student Gap Fee

Australian Apprenticeships

Funding through the form of apprenticeships and traineeships are available for existing workers and workers of all ages. Transformed works with employers to gain relevant funding and manage the training plan through to completion for the individual or group.

Skilled Capital offers a comprehensive range of services to provide Canberrans the support they need to complete the training that is right for them.
