Our History
In the beginning......
Transformed was formed in 2006 by Project Management expert Michael Young. With years of industry experience Michael had always had an interest in training and saw a need to set up a development programme for project managers. He had been receiving an increasing number of enquiries from individuals and organisations as to where to find good project managers or how to become a project manager. Project Management was growing in recognition and was becoming important particularly in the IT space but there was a recognised national skills shortage especially in the construction industry.
Gathering a team of experts with real world experience Transformed developed in four quadrants; training, coaching, consulting and recruitment all geared towards project management.
On a winning streak.........
Transformed worked towards gaining RTO (registered training organisation) status in 2007. At this time Transformed were awarded a National Project Management Achievement Award for an IT project undertaken.
In 2008 Transformed gained endorsement for project management courses by the Australian Institute of Project Management, Michael Young was elected to the National Board of the Australian Institute of Project Management and joined the International Institute of Project Management.
With a heartland in ACT training delivery was increased to WA, NT, VIC, NSW and QLD gaining government subsidised places to facilitate training for participants.
After building a strong heartland in Project Management Transformed diversified into the building and construction market in order to respond to the key skills shortage and licensing requirements.
Additionally Transformed developed a suite of procurement and contract management courses for use within industry and for Government agencies.
2010 saw Transformed win the ACT Training Initiative of the Year for insight into the NT building industry.

Michael Young, Managing Director has been selected as the Asia Pacific representative on the international Project Portfolio Management standard core team and has authored the first national standard for project portfolio management.
